What kind of events do you organize?
We organise events during public holidays like Thanksgiving and Christmas, where most people would stay with their families. We hold sports days, movie nights and other general get-togethers.
We also organise recurring events like our weekly lunch on Tuesdays at 12:30pm or our international networking every other week on Thursdays at 8pm.
Notice: Sadly, covid-19 has caused us to temporarily suspend all in-person events. However, don’t despair, as we organize many fun virtual events for the community. Follow us on Facebook to join!

Are you looking for volunteers, can I join ?
We have a monthly open board meeting where we explain how the organization works and recruit new board members, make sure to join one of those to meet us. Also feel free to reach out to any of our board members if you are interested in volunteering.
I am an American visiting student/a visiting scholar/an international postdoc, can I also join?
Yes, we welcome all MIT community members and their friends !
I am not at MIT, but I'm spending my period as visiting student/scholar nearby (Harvard, Boston University etc.), can I also join?
Sure! Every international student is welcomed to join even if they are not affiliated with MIT. However, sometimes we make bigger events that are fully paid for by MIT, those events can only have MIT affiliated people. We'll always let you know if that is the case.
